Between February and April 2006, George and Erica Yacoubian visited all 15 of the orphanages in Armenia. During each trip, they met with the Directors to identify their most pressing needs. Your cash donations will be used to fulfill those needs.
While we have assembled a trusted network of Partners in Armenia to assist us with distributions and to implement a strict quality control program, we will rarely make cash donations directly to the orphanages. Rather, your donation will be used to purchase goods or services that will then be distributed directly to the orphanage by our Partners.
All cash donations made to SOAR are tax deductible. We offer two methods by which you can make a donation: by check and through PayPal. All check donations will be acknowledged by mail for tax purposes. Please make your check out to the Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief, Inc. and mail to the following address:
