Since SOAR was launched in the spring of 2006, we have fielded dozens of inquiries from individuals and couples who were interested in adopting from Armenia. While SOAR is not an adoption facilitating organization, we offer this information so prospective adoptive parents can better understand the process. Indeed, several of these persons have since completed their adoption processes and have returned home with their children. The recipes below are one small way through which these children can experience their Armenian culture in the United States. Armenian food is an important part of our culture, and below is a sample of the extraordinary dishes Armenians create in their kitchens. Paree akhorzhag!
