Family of Armo Abgaryan

December 2024

The family lives in a rented house in Yerevan. The son Artyom is studying at school in the first grade. He is under medical supervision and receives medical care continuously for his cancer, which is now in remission.
The wife, Lyuba, took sewing training courses but due to her son’s health condition, she cannot apply at this time for a job.
Lyuba expresses her deep gratitude for supporting their family, with the oven she is able to take orders, bake and sell baklava in her free time.

Eva and Yana attend school, 6th and 3rd grade.

The girls also attend dance classes.

Gayane doesn’t have a job yet. They tried to organize several concerts with the Artsakh Choir but have not been able to get one scheduled yet.

Victoria with her 4 children Alla, Levon, Garik and Marina live in Yerevan. They rented a new, more affordable apartment.
Despite her serious financial problems, Victoria works in a sewing factory in the mornings and in a store in the afternoons, so that she can support the educational goals of very intelligent children.
Alla and Levon applied to the Medical University. They both study chemistry and biology with a tutor.
Garik practices English with a tutor and he also plays chess and football.
Alla took a manicure course and in her free time she does manicures and pays for her German lessons with the money she earns.

Victoria is taking hairdressing and sewing courses and is currently looking for a job.

SOAR will be providing counseling for the family as they have been struggling with the loss of their husband and father.

In addition to diabetes, Armine, the wife of fallen soldier Andranik Harutyunyan, suffers with additional health problems: blood pressure fluctuations, deterioration of vision, lack of vitamins, neurosis.

At Armine’s request, SOAR provided her with an automatic blood pressure cuff and cleaning supplies.

Tamara started working at Slavmed Medical Center as a nurse but due to health problems of severe headaches, she left her job and continued treatment.
Gor attended hairdressing courses and is now he is looking for a job.
Vahag is studying in his second year of management economics at the European College.
