Hovhannisyan Family
Because of the generosity of George and Julia Yacoubian, the Hovhannisyan family will be able to complete the home they are building and move out of the small run down cabin where they were trying to raise their family of eight, including one disabled child. Below is the story George and Julia shared with the family:
Over 40 years ago when we had outgrown a tiny bungalow in Atlanta we prayed for money to purchase a piece of land out of the city where we could build a home and raise our children in a healthy environment. A friend whom we really didn’t know very well became aware of our need and when a CD matured, out of the blue, sent just the amount needed to buy the land. Church people helped us build a commodious home where we raised our 6 children with creeks to play in and a barnyard to tend. We still live here and now grandchildren love to come and enjoy the same environment their parents did. When we heard of this need, we wanted to pass along the blessing that had been extended to us through the generosity of our friend – ultimately God’s goodness. May the Hovhannisyan family experience the lovingkindness of the Lord as they complete and live in their home.
