SOAR’s Veterans’ Educational Assistance Fund (VEAF) was launched in October 2023 to provide financial support for higher education to Armenian soldiers who survived the Artsakh War. We receive requests directly from the soldiers and make funding determinations on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration a variety of criteria. Funds are used for tuition, university fees, books/supplies, and transportation. Recipients must document all requests and expenditures in writing and provide regular progress updates to be eligible for future support.
